KPMG top European accountancy firm
KPMG is set to announce that it is worth £3.2 billion, making it the largest European accountancy firm.
The company’ financial year concludes at the end of September, bringing to a close the first full year that the firm has been reporting as a European LLP.
The branches in Germany and the UK generate the majority of the revenue of KPMG.
The firm’s UK branch is understood to have enjoyed a good year and is likely to announce an increase in recruitment, despite rumours that the firm are no longer hiring.
KPMG’s numbers will be the first to fully reflect 12 months of the credit crunch, providing an insight into how the current economic situation has impacted the profession.
