ICAEW: ‘Now is a great time to start a business’
The Institute of Chartered Accounts (ICAEW) has urged potential entrepreneurs to not put off plans to start their own business because of the recession.
The ICAEW has commented that decreased competition caused by firms falling into administration and the lowest rental and office prices for years have resulted in it being a good time to start a new business.
“Periods of recession can be one of the best times to start a small business. If you deliver a good customer experience during a recession, those customers will remember you afterwards,” said Ian Strange of the ICAEW.
